Monday December 16th Catch-up

Hope everyone had a good weekend.  Just wanted to catch everybody up on a bunch of stories I found interesting that came out this weekend that you may have missed.  Might make this Monday catch-up a regular thing.

The Verge (through Reddit) has a post on an abandoned nursing school that has its walls covered in Batman & Joker graffiti.  It's pretty cool and you can check out The Verge post here and the album here.

Christopher Nolan's next movie is called Interstellar, and the teaser trailer came out this weekend.  It's a somber trailer with an uplifting message at the end, and it's truly a teaser because I haven't the slightest idea what it's about.  Interstellar comes out in a year.

My friend Alan passed this along to me.  I'm a huge Transformers fan, and a hardcover book is coming out next May chronicling the packaging art for the toys.  Sounds like a good history lesson on Transformers and a good walk down memory lane. Read about it at tfw2005 here.

Do you wanna be a Ghostbuster?  Well you can get one step closer with Matty Collector's "Neutrino Wand" replica prop!  Funny, I always thought it was "neutrona."  Whatever, it's on sale right now for $130.  Pick one up, bust some ghosts.

And finally, you probably heard, Peter O'Toole passed away this weekend.  Best known for Lawrence of Arabia, I remember him from Supergirl, which was actually quite forgettable.  And I re-watched Ratatouille this weekend.  In case you don't know, he was the voice of the food critic, Anton Ego.  RIP Peter O'Toole.
