Doctor Strange Trailer Breakdown

The first trailer for Doctor Strange is out! And boy is it a mind trip...

Considering it's the first trailer, we don't even see Doctor Strange in his familiar duds until the end, and even then it's just his back. With the movie seven months away, you've gotta leave something for future trailers, right?

Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork!

If you didn't watch the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, and let's face it, you probably didn't, you missed an exclusive clip from Captain America: Civil War. In it, Captain America, Falcon, and Scarlet Witch work together, (quite well mind you) to find an old enemy.

Falcon drops Cap off to do his thing.

Game of Thrones Season 6 2nd Trailer

The premiere of Game of Thrones season 6 is less than two weeks away, so here's a brand new trailer!

Here are a few things to notice in the trailer.

Davos is defending Jon Snow's body. And Ghost is there! I'd love to see him rip through Ollie's body, that little shit...

Rogue One Teaser Trailer

Apparently it's another Star Wars week because The Force Awakens is finally available on Blu-Ray/DVD and the teaser trailer for Rogue One is out, and here it is!

We know the basic plot of the movie is about a group of rebel spies who steal the plans to the Death Star and it takes place prior to the original trilogy. The trailer accomplishes the two things that it's supposed to. It tells me nothing of the story, and it gets me totally excited to see it. Here are a few things that stood out in the trailer.

Nerf Doublestrike Project

Back in December I repainted a toy Star Wars gun into a more realistic looking Han Solo blaster. On the advice of expert prop maker Bill Doran from Punished Props, I decided to apply this technique again to a Nerf gun. I know there's a sizable Nerf modification community out there that focuses on increasing firing power, but that's not what I'm trying to do. This project is about getting better at painting, making this toy gun look more realistic, and practicing with my new airbrush. Since I'm still just starting out, a small toy gun was a good place to start, and the Nerf Doublestrike is a cheap enough gun to practice on. I got this at Walmart for about $8 on sale. And it's available on Amazon for about the same price.

Now We Are So Happy, We Do The Dance Of Joy!

I know this isn't going to get much fanfare but thirty years ago today, Perfect Strangers, one of my favorite shows of all time premiered. It's the story of a naive, but good-hearted immigrant from the fictional island of Mypos named Balki Bartokomous coming to America to live with his cousin Larry Appleton. It's the classic fish out of water premise played to comedy perfection by Bronson Pinchot and Mark Linn-Baker. Plus it had in my opinion, one of the best opening theme songs... ever...

LEGO Batman Movie Teaser Trailer

If the unending marketing of Batman v Superman hasn't worn you out yet and you're hungry for more Batman, here's the first teaser of The LEGO Batman Movie which comes out next year!
