"It's all of us... Against a god..."

There's a new trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse! While it doesn't offer any new plot details; it's still basically Apocalypse wants to destroy the world and the X-Men have to stop him; but there's a bunch of new footage. Here's the trailer!

There's a lot going on in the trailer so here's some of the highlights.

The trailer starts with some familiar dialogue that was in the closing scene of the original X-Men movie.

"Doesn't it ever wake you up in the middle of the night. The feeling that someday, they'll come for you, and your children?"

"I feel a great swell of pity for the poor soul that comes to my school looking for trouble."
Not sure if this has been shown yet but it's Oscar Isaac without all his Apocalypse stuff on.

It looks like an ancient TRON ceremony.

Is this how he becomes Apocalypse?

Recruiting a young Storm?

Not quite Ivan Ooze here, but still not the craziest about his look.

I do think he looks better with white eyes.

"He always had four followers." Here's Psylocke and Archangel.

Storm with her mohawk look.

Magneto has new threads.

Quicksilver plans to join the X-Men.

Jean Grey and Cyclops

Moira, Mystique, and Beast.

Angel fighting Nightcrawler.

Psylocke showing off her ninja skills against Beast.

Quicksilver suits up.

Cyclops takes a shot at Storm.

Havok wreaks havoc, inside of Cerebro?

Looks like James Mcavoy beaten up in Wanted.

And the trailer ends with Apocalypse grabbing Mystique by the neck.

The dark tone of these trailers is exactly what turned me off of Days of Future Past, but when I finally saw it, I enjoyed it a lot. I'm hoping for the same result here. Looking forward to this one!

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27th.
