Whose Side Are You On?

Well I'm on the side that's going to be throwing money at Marvel because the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War is out and holy crap it looks awesome!

That was 150 seconds of awesome. There's tons going on this trailer so let's take a closer look.

The trailer starts with Captain America and Falcon walking up to Bucky who has his arm trapped in a device.

"Buck."

"Do you remember me?"

I don't remember you, but I remember your MOM... ;) "Your mom's name was Sarah." All I'm thinking here is "Sarah Connor?!?" Cause Buck's trapped in this thing like a Terminator.

"And you used to wear newspapers in your shoes." As Falcon looks around incredulously.

Cap smiles in approval.

"You're a wanted man." Looks like some kind of political cabinet meeting blowing up.

And you run away from explosions.

Bucky says, "I don't do that anymore." There's a lot of Falcon reaction shots in this trailer.

Cap responds, "Well the people who think you did are coming right now. And they're not planning on taking you alive." Judging by the "Polizei" on the uniforms, this is probably in Germany.

Cap & Bucky fend off the Police.

Bucky runs...

And jumps!

Captain America drop kick!

The new Avengers building.

See, another Falcon reaction shot.

William Hurt reprises his role as 'Thunderbolt' Ross from the Incredible Hulk. He is now the Secretary of State and says, "Captain. While a great many people see you as a hero, there are some who'd prefer the word, vigilante." No Secretary Ross, I believe Vigilante is a DC super-hero...

"You've operated with unlimited power and no supervision." Well not really. He was under Nick Fury's supervision. But everyone still thinks he's dead right?

The Sokovia Accords which probably document the colossal screw up in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

"That's something the world can no longer tolerate."

"I know how much Bucky means to you. Stay out of this one. Please. You'll only make this worse." I'm guessing Bucky got captured, and Cap's trying to get him free.

"Are you saying you'll arrest me?" Because we all know how well that worked out in Winter Soldier.

"There will be consequences." And by consequences I mean I'll send a billionaire, playboy, philanthropist to talk to you.

"Captain, you seem a little defensive."

"Well it's been a long day."

"If you can't accept limitations, we're no better than the bad guys." It looks like Cap & Falcon's gear is being carried off.

Cap replies, "That's not the way I see it." As Bucky gets ready.

"Sometimes I wanna punch you in your perfect teeth."

"I just wanna make sure we consider all our options."

"Cause people that shoot at you usually wind up shooting at me too."

Top Gun Cap

Falcon in action!

"You know what's about to happen."

Cap jumps through a lot of windows.

Iron Man & War Machine hero pose.

"Do you really wanna punch your way out of this?" Team Cap!

Iron Man & War Machine hero pose number two.

"What do we do?"

First shot of Black Panther!

"We fight."

Team Cap, Assemble!

Black Panther kicking Bucky's ass.

Black Widow just kicked some poor guy's ass.

Black Panther is fast.

And Captain America is strong.

Like hold a helicopter strong.

Bucky gets a body hit in on Tony!

And it looks like he's about to tear out the arc reactor.

Just another day at the office for Cap.

"Sorry Tony. You know I wouldn't do this if I had any other choice." Tony and a fallen War Machine.

"But he's my friend."

"So was I." Burn!

Cap & Buck vs Iron Man!

Iron Man tries to fight back.

I simply love this fight sequence. Especially the movement of Cap's shield.

Boom! My excitement level just went through the roof for this and it's probably all I'll be thinking about after I see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. ;)

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6th, 2016.
